Bruce L. Cousino, 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Cleveland, Ohio on October 31, 2020.

He was born July 1, 1945 in Hanover, New Hampshire.  The son of the late Lawrence J. and Marie (Guinard) Cousino.  He married Toni L. (Cook) on April 19, 1969.

Survived by his wife, Toni; sisters Bernadette Cason of Ocala, Florida and Lorraine Cousino of Essex Jct, Vermont; a brother, Leo E. Cousino of Ferrisburgh, Vermont; aunt Dolly (Guinard) Beauchain; several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, Gene, Larry and Roy Cook and a sister in law, Rose Cook Haywood.

Preceded in death by his parents; a sister Rose Cousino; grandparents Felix and Delia (Provoncha) Cousino and Joseph and Eleanor (Vizina) Guinard and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bruce graduated from Bristol High School in Bristol, Vermont in 1963. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.  Bruce graduated from Skadron Business College in San Bernadino, California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.  After graduation, he and Toni relocated back to Bristol, Vermont where Bruce and his grandfather Felix Cousino built the Kountry Kupboard Restaurant for Toni.  Bruce and Toni owned and operated the restaurant for several years before relocating back to Southern California, where they purchased and operated The Cranberry Tea Room Restaurant from Toni’s parents.  Over the next 35 years, they operated several other restaurants, catering and a produce business.  Bruce also worked as a sales representative/manager for Prudential Insurance and was also an over the road Driver and Driver Trainer.  He was a member of the Rotary Club and the Crown of Life Christian Church in Yucaipa, California.  After retirement, he enjoyed reading, researching and surfing the internet.  Bruce had a favorite Bible verse, which was the 23rd. Psalm.

A memorial service and celebration of Bruce’s life will be held in April, 2021 at a date to be announced.

Inurnment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga  Road, Seville, Ohio.
