William “Bill” Byndas, age 62, passed away late night on Sunday, September 20, 2020 after a valiant fight against kidney disease and other ailments.  Born on February 12, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late William and Mary (Demchak) Byndas. Bill was a member of the graduating class of 1975 at Lincoln-West High School. He went on to graduate from Cleveland State University with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing, and was a card-carrying member of MENSA.

Bill worked a variety of positions including retail, warehouse worker, groundskeeper and even your friendly Shell gas station attendant. He was willing to do whatever was needed to support his family. A die-hard Clevelander, Billy loved to cheer on every sports team. He was also a firm lover of music and enjoyed going to live shows across Northeast Ohio, capturing dozens of events on film, even developing it himself in his home dark room.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his dear children: Michelle (Rockford, IL),  Jacob (Rockford, IL), Elizabeth Greifenstein (Yuma, AZ), and by his cherished grand-daughter, Leia Greifenstein.

Graveside service for William will be held on Thursday, September 24th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Theodosius Cemetery In Brooklyn, Ohio where he will be laid to rest next to his parents in their family plot. Father John Zdisk officiating.
